Custom-made 3D printing, in Hong Kong

A custom-made centre for 3D printing

Tell us what you want in a chat. We draw it, build the 3D model, and you approve both before you pay. Designed from nothing, or fitted to something you already own - if we have measured it.

  • A drawing and a 3D model before you pay
  • Resin on LCD, tough parts on FDM

Pieces made here

Five real orders. You describe it, we draw it, and you turn the model around before anything is printed.

How a piece is made

From a photo to clear resin

  1. You send a photo

Any clear photo of your pet, toy or keepsake, and a few words about what you want.

    They typed

  2. The bot draws it

A picture of your idea to check first. Change it until it is right, or ask for more sides.

  3. It becomes a 3D model

Turn it around on your phone and check the size, before you pay for anything.

  4. Printed in clear resin

Cast in crystal-clear resin, washed, cured, checked and posted to you. This one is 80 mm tall.

The face of your fan, designed by you

The cover that clips onto a cooling-vest fan, with the pattern cut through it by you - the outer ring, the net, and what sits in the middle. Printed in ASA on the filament machine, and it fits because we measured the fan, not because a photo looked right.

148 HKD a pair - the vest has two fans. That is the print; the drawing is paid in credits, like every other route.

How this one is made

  1. Say what the three zones should look like

Say what the three zones should look like

The outer ring, the net in the middle of it, and what sits at the centre. A number from the menu, or your own words for any of them - both are read.

  2. Approve the drawing

    Approve the drawing

We draw your design flat and straight-on, the way it will be cut. Change it as often as you like - each drawing is paid for in credits, and the pair still costs the same to print.

  3. Cut into the plate we measured

Cut into the plate we measured

Your pattern is cut clean through our own plate, then checked before it prints: enough air to cool you, and webs thick enough to survive being clipped on and off.

  4. Printed as a pair

    Printed as a pair

A vest has two fans, so a pair is what you get - printed in ASA on the filament machine, in the colour you picked at the start.

Fans we have measured

A fitted part is only as good as the measurements behind it, so this list is short on purpose and grows one fan at a time.

Your fan is not on the list? Send us a photo of it and the model name. Two people asking for the same fan is what gets it measured.

Two kinds of machine, because parts are not all the same

What a piece is for decides how it is printed, and we say which before you pay for anything.

  • Resin, on LCD

Two Photon Mono M7 machines at 0.1 mm layers, up to 298 x 164 x 300 mm. Fine detail, and clear resin that light passes straight through.

  • Filament, on FDM

For parts that get handled, clipped on and off, or left in the sun. Tougher in the hand than resin, and the machine the fan cases are printed on.

  • Colour

Filament parts are printed in the colour you pick in the chat - the bot offers whatever is on the shelf. More than one colour in the same part is possible on our machine: ask, and we will quote it.

A part that has to fit something is only made from a host we have measured ourselves. We do not guess dimensions from a photograph.

Ordering

Send one message

There is no form and no cart. Message @Tm3d_bot on Telegram or WhatsApp, in English or Chinese, and it answers.

  1. Tell us in words

Describe it. No photo needed. We draw a picture for you to check, then build the 3D model.

You send: A dragon curled around a crystal, fantasy style, 10 cm tall.

  2. Send a photo, keep it the same

Your toy, your pet, your thing. We model it as it is.

Photo Make this into a figurine, just as it is.

  3. Send a photo and change it

A new pose, a cuter look, a keychain or a plaque. We draw the new version for you to check first.

Photo Make this into a small figurine, sitting pose, cute cartoon style.

  4. Send your own 3D file

Already have an STL? Send it - no credits needed, you only pay for the print. Under 20 MB.

File.stl Here is my file. Please print it 9 cm tall.

  5. Design a part for something you own

The fan case is the first of these: you design the face, and we cut it into the plate we measured ourselves. Nobody asks you for a size - the fan decides it.

Fan case I would like a pair of fan cases - a spin-style net, and my initials in the middle.

We do not make famous characters, brand logos or famous people, and a model from a photo of a person shows their general look rather than an exact likeness. A part that has to fit something is only made from a host we have measured. A shape worked out from numbers you give us. Not automatic yet - tell us what you need and we will quote it by hand.
